I'M JUST A SPY(LOL)
They look wonderfull, might I suggest the use of some AV switches instead of the standard switches, they look much better.
New to the forum: READ, READ, READ! it's the best way not to get flamed.

Thank you. And, actually, using AV switches was my original plan. However, the store had none with purple illumination, nor did it have plain AV switches with no illumination.
Though, your post has had me think about them again, so I decided to search online for them. I came across a place that sells a rediculous number of them, and has a great variety of designs in-stock...
So I thank you once again -I am to revert to my original plan and use anti-vandal switches in my design. They are very short in comparison to those that are sold here, so they need not an activation box to house them, and can be installed directly into the switch hole. I have chosen them to be of a domed design, without illumination, and should improve the aesthetic aspect of my design.

Excellent design. The concave curved choke is very comfortable for one-hand spinning and manipulation...it will be quite functional for dual wielding in Jar Kai. Like you I favour 'matched sets' of weapons for dual wielding, to allow use of either weapon in either hand regardless of strong side or crossdraw and for better integration by identical balance. For a specialist in dual wielding the 'matched set' design would be especially beneficial.
An auspicious beginning with an elegant saber design well conceived...welcome aboard.
I am flattered that you find my design to be one of elegance -that was my intention- and that you find my future in this "saber scene" to be promising. Thank you.
Nice design. Good luck building your lightsaber. Post pictures!
Thank you. And will do... as soon as I have actually bought and built them...
Progress pics would be nice too, but what are you going to use a blade retention screw? You can buy a thumbscrew or set screw that time sells here, but the drawback with a setscrew is carrying an allen wrnch around with ya.
Prepare for major PWNage.
