    Default Jay-gon Jinn's Chrome Saber 17

    Just recently finished this one:

This saber uses an MR Luke Skywalker ANH FX soundboard, a green Cree XRE led, and 4-AA batteries. MHS parts used include a blade holder style 16, a v-grooved ribbed extension powder coated in Solar Flat Black in the RG3 style, and an MHS sink tube adapter.

    That's a keeper!
I like the extra grooves on the ribbed piece and sink tube. They work VERY nicely with the blade holder, of which I love the look.
Once again another amazing build by Jay!

Another awesome saber, though I would make the fake grips in the back of the hilt black to even out the saber.

If I had the means to do so, I would have....I don't have powder coat equipment, and paint rubs off too easily.
