Attaching a light bulb...

For my saber, I want to attach a light bulb so it will show on the outside. How do I wire the regular(no sound) setup to allow this?

I am 1/3 High School student and 2/3 SITH LORD.

1- Where were you thinking of mounting the light bulb at ?

Or were you meaning a Led bulb placed inside the hilt and pro-truding through the side ?

Except have the crystal on the outside in a clear box and have just a nonfilter light bulb light up my smoky quartz crystal. Any ideas?

Yes, forget the lightbulb. Use an LED. It works just like the luxeon leds. Wire it in parallel with a resistor and DPDT switch.
