Here's my first true saber. I built a verision of the Obi Wan Saber in Episode 1 but it doesn't have a led or anything.
I've dubbed this Saber the Tiger Claw, cause well it has tiger strips on the front. Not bad for a first attempt.

That's really nice, interesting use of a curtain poll end, I like it very much, good job.

I bought some board (I believe it was from here) with a flasher switch that makes the blade flash when you push the button.
It's a nice feature, but not worth the trouble and space of the board.
Next time I'll just use a regular driver.
o_O...Uhhh....Corbin is rolling over in his grave right now...that "some board" is a Corbin LED driver V2. If it is installed correctly (with a clash sensor) the blade will flicker when struck.
BTW, I know Corbin is really not dead...
