I didnt notice you said you had a different model. I have seen some where the polarity is reversed. Not sure how yours should be hooked up.

can anyone help me with my darth vader 04 model conversion[]
i have a problem with the led hookup it is soldered but when you plug the blade connector in the sond is grumbly and the led flashes on and off.
You already know that is is wired incorrectly or it wouldn't act like that. You need a multimeter to check eacy wire to determine if it is positve or negative, use the volts setting to measure it. Sorry that is the best I can do because your board is not in front me.

What's with the Caps?
And what's with the "[" in front of every one of your posts?
Take a pic, (a good pic) or draw a photoshop wireing diagram of how you have this wired. It will help us brainstorm.
If you need help posting he pics, there is a pic-posting topic that should help.
I think you can now load them directly onto this sight, but I have yet to try.

I don't think it will make a difference, you need to meter the wires to find out what is positive and negative.

You can send pictures all day long but without it in front of me I can just guess you must take the time to use a meter and test each individual wire. You must also unwire your current conections and I think you will find that your sound works correctly then. Sorry to tell you this but, THE LED IS WIRED WRONG!
