In the future, please don't post your list of items in your cart like that. All that extra stuff we don't need to see makes it hard to read the list.

    Post it like this:

7" Fluted with standard style switch hole

    Build Your Own
Luxeon III / Seoul P4 Electronics Kit
    4AAA battery holder
    Red/Orange
    Collimator Lens 5° viewing angle
    2.2ohm 5w resistor
Push on/push off switch with red button
    Luxeon III/V Lens Holder

Screw on LED blade holder style 10

1" Thick walled Polycarbonate 40" long

Bullet shaped tip for 1" thick walled blades

    Blade film

    MPS Pommel style 4

    Luxeon 3w driver V2 (Momentary)

    MPS Insert style 2

You have nothing on your list that gives you sound, you'll have to add that yourself.

If you're ordering the Momentary Luxeon 3w driver (which is not a sound board), then you need to make sure to choose a momentary switch with your Build Your Own Luxeon III / P4 electronics kit.

You also need an MPS clip to hold the MPS Insert in your Pommel.

so what does the driver do? I read it and it says that it has clash and swoosh is that the lighting effects only? or have I confused the wrong board?

    * Ramp up/down, static shimmer, optional flash on impact and lockup
    * Maximum input voltage has been increased to 30V from the previous 12V
    * Maximum output voltage has been increased to 25V. Rebel compatible.
    * Uses less than 0.2mA when sleeping (turned off, with power to driver)
    * Size is reduced by 35%, 0.80 x 1.1 from previous 1.25 x 1.625
    * Pulsed Width Modulation averages 1A output with 1.2A when “clashing”
    * On board micro on/off switch with contacts for remote switch
    * Available in momentary or latching switch configurations

"Clashing" is just a lighting effect, same as "flash on impact".

I don't see anything in the description about "swoosh".

OH ok. thanks for clarifying that. so from what I got from the shout chat was that I could use the hasbro board for the sound, but I got disconnected when I asked if that could be used as a driver

In this thread it tells you which LEDs work best with the economy hasbro card. I will also tell you which hasbro sabers are the best to get.

just for future reference. double posts are a no no. you did a double post right above skytrackers post. also your MHS saber should be cool. i think it needs a choke section though.. in my opinion... i wouldnt get the driver if you dont plan on using sound. allthough you could wire up a MR or Cheapy hasbro board. youd need to do some research on how to use the 3w driver with these boards as well as power requirements and stuff. its no easy task
