    Default JamoUp's US2.1 WIP

Here is my WIP UltraSound 2.1 Saber.

It is only a Work In Progress because halfway through wiring it up I burnt my thumb fairly bone-head-edly bad. So this is what I have until I have the courage to use my thumb again.

It is powered by a Lithium Ion 7.4 with PCB
    Made from MHS parts
    US 2.1
    Recharge port/ kill switch
    vibration motor
    Custom "Yoda style" grips

This is what the complete saber looks like:

These are the main bits. recharge, LED, Crystal, main body with illuminated switch:

    Close-ups:

I wanted to include that last pic to show how I assembled the crystal chamber. There is a quartz crystal in the completed version.

I hope you have enjoyed thus far. More to come!

Looks great so far; if I may inquire, what are the grips made of?

    Not too shabby.

I look forward to seeing how this progresses. Is this your first saber?

    Update!

I got the whole saber wired and put together!

    Woot!??!

just one problem. When I turn the saber on, it goes into boot sequence every time. It won't just turn on. Always the boot sequence.

So I go through the boot sequence a few times, still refuses to just turn on like a good boy should.

The switch works to go through the menu... just isn't turning the saber on properly.

    Any suggestions?
