I'm liking them, especially the most recent.

...and Titoshi -totally inspired idea about storing the blade inside it!!

I had an entire fight choreographed using one of those. Haven't gotten around to actually building the hilt yet. I always just called it a saber polearm, since the proportions of mine are a bit different than the pikes.

Here's a render I did in 3DS Max a while back, just getting an idea of what it'd be.
