    Default My new build. The "Hideous" saber.

    The "Hideous" Saber
    White Lux 3, direct drive, guarded latching switch, 4 AAA.
    Sink tube shroud, Blade holder 9, 3" ext., short choke, double male conn.,
    4" ext. & pommel 3v2 w/ insert 7, Blue O-rings & sprayed w/ black Plastidip.
    Originally put in a MR Anakin board but I broke the switch wire conn. and couldn't get it fixed. Will wire for sound later.

    Top of sink tube shroud. Mighty w/ the Dremel.

    Guarded latching switch mounted through shroud.

    All parts except the sound board & speaker.

    Sink tube shroud & saber pre-paint.


    Sorry if I posted too many pics here. I'm just proud of this one. It took me a while. Tell me what ya think.

    Nice work.

    You have some skill with a Dremel, though I think the Plastidip helped with the switch hole a little.

    DUDE that is a great looking saber. did you have the parts media blasted? or is that a clear plastidip?

    I had all the MHS parts media blasted. I forgot to add that in the description.
    I had the hardest time wiring the electronics. I first hooked it up to a MR Anakin board I salvaged out of my FX saber. It worked initially, but, the more I worked with it, the switch leads on the board broke. I tried to re-solder, but no luck. Oh well. I'll just wait for my CF. I just have a resistor wired in.
