I assume you've only got red LEDs on hand, then.
The red blade looks really nice with the red LED in it, and the smoke Death blade is pretty rad, too!

I have been so busy that I haven't been able to make a test board with several types of LEDs. I have some blue and green CREEs, white P4s and K2 and several other types on hand.

Interesting...the solid red actually lit up much better than I expected...might be good for outdoor use as well as ok for indoor use?

Yeah, I didn't think the solid red would light up either, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results. It does light up better with a red Lux III LED than a white P4 LED.

Here are some pics of the colored polyC tubes with a white P4 LED. I used a flash on all the ones that are not lit to make them show up better. The rest of the pics are in a bright room. I took pics with and without the diffuser so you can see the difference. As long as there are some dust particles in the tubes they look cool without the diffusers. I will work on doing a side by side comparison later. Here is the link to the album on my photobucket site.

Being a Jedi, at least you do not like the death blade. lol That is what I call the black blade with a red led. The black blade with a white P4 looks like a stealth blade.
