Finished powdercoating everything.
The shroud is powdercoated in "Purple Starlight" and the grooves in the hilt are powdercoated in "Black Gold Glimmer"
The combination, especially when combined with the gold inner part of the shroud that shows through near the crystal chamber is really quite stunning both indoors and out.
Most of the electronics is already wired up, but I'm waiting for a few things:
1). A RBW custom Tri-rebel from XWingband
2). A wiring tutorial on how to do white clash flash with an MR board.
I've already experimented a bit with making flash clash work, but I think there's a missing component of some sort, maybe a power extender or corbin's board (I tried using a buckpuck, but it's not quite the same). I've gotten it to work with the green turning on, but it's so short-lived that it's basically unnoticeable.
In lieu of the above parts, I already have things wired up in the meantime to use a Seoul RGB with the red and blue wired in series for a purple blade. This saber will be using a purple 5mm accent LED for a quartz crystal and also a latching yellow LED ring anti-vandal switch.
