    mihunai:

A: That was done in Bender?! Bravo

B: His first saber was taken from the first Jedi he killed. I believe in was said in the EP3 novel on one of the comic books.

hm... in that case, it is just another custom-saber design... oh well
it would be cool if this was his though...

btw, wasnt his first saber that double saber that once belonged to Bane?

Grievious' first saber came from Sifo Dyas who was killed by Dooku who gave Sifo's saber to Grievious, the rest he "collected".

And Yes that Saber does look sweet.

I think that would be the best thing in the case of his own personal saber and it looks very cool, I think its certainly worthy of the great Kaleesh warlord himself but if I may represent, being a huge grievous fan, this design was a work in progress with three years of refinements and it finally became complete. Actually I added one more slight change after this but this will do for now. Honestly though in the real SW universe yours would be more applicable to being his actual saber than this.

So I love yours but I wanted to show this too. I hope its alright with you.

    Nice work on that one!
i was thinking about a nice way to incorporate his earpanels or armplates.
im not really shure about the crystalchamber design though, it kindof changes his 'face'
one thing id like to see on that saber is the lines shown on his armor

    other than that, nice job!

Both of you have made amazing renders, keep up the good work. I would love to see it if even one of these were realized and built. That would be intense!

The crystal chamber kinda-of symbolizes his vital organs with the crystal being the heart of the saber and being in a similar place on the saber in relation to Grievous' organs. The kaleesh symbol that the crystal is behind is not part of his face, if you notice there is a thin seperation line between the symbol and the emitter. But anyway I still hope I might build this someday, right now I'm distracted with my guitar building.

    I hope that makes sense.

BTW the render was not done by me, it was done by Kwirkeej on the Randomsabers forum.
