The retention screw is an old back-binding post from one of my first machines. It had some wear and it looked neat. And a 10-wrap coil holding the speaker in place. The hilt is long I know, but I like the look of it. It's like a saber for a space-barbarian.

I like the leather too - been playing around with ideas for upgrading one of my sabers with it vice keeping the T-grips currently on there.

Though I do agree that the hilt looks long compared to the blade, but I'll admit there's nothing wrong with claymore-sabers.

I'm taking a wild guess that hilt is ~16" long. Very interesting & unique styling, too. It really looks like a Jedi/Sith built it with their personal taste in mind!
