Talking Grevious Hasbro conversion with Ramping Accents...

This is a exhibition of the "ramp-effect" that is possible with MR/hasbro soundboards. It was built with a Hasbro signature saber from the shop here.

It is another Hasbro Obi-Wan converted to a "General Grevious-style" saber. The new details include ramping accent LEDs under a replica TCSS bubble strip on the activation box and copper mylar tape replaces the nasty looking burnt umber paint. Make sure to watch the video because it shows the ramping VERY well!

    Particulars:

    Hasbro Signature Obi-Wan Hilt
    Hasbro Signature Vader Sound
    Lux III BIN6 Cyan LED
    TCSS optics
Blue & Green 5mm accent Makatosai LEDs from TCSS (inside activation box, wired to "Ramp", blue-->green--->Lux III)
    TCSS Bubble Strip
    TCSS Conversion kit
    Copper Mylar tape

I want to try the scrolling LEDs under a bubble strip on my next saber build.

I have always liked the ramp effect. I will do that one day. Yes, one day I will.

Great saber. I am going to use that effect on my next saber. Would it make the effect more dramatic if you used every other wire?

    Default ramping

did you modify the hasbro board to achieve the ramping effect or was that how the board was programmed?

I know how he does it.

He doesn't do anything to the actual board though. If you think about how the board and wiring works with the original LED strip, you should be able to figure it out.
