    Saw these one day on digikey they look like a good low cost alternative to buck puck and resistors. and they come in different currents, also great for hilts where space is an issue.

    That looks like it's intended to be soldered to a pcb.

    Yeah but you could wire them up like a resistor and heat shrink the works, you might have to mount them on the inside of the hilt for heat sinking purposes like a voltage regulator.

    Yes indeed, mount 3 on a pcb to output to 3 rebels, might be something there....
