    Default My illuminated card model Millennium Falcon

    This is made from 220gsm A4 card using the free download parts available here.

    There are four superbright blue leds in the engine section and two white and one red superbright leds near the middle feeding through 1mm fibreoptics to the headlights all running from a 4aa battery pack in the stand.
    I reinforced where the wiring passes through the card layers with plastic card and the engine area was made from clear plastic from some packaging sanded on the inside to give a diffused effect.

    That's pretty neat. Reminds me of the paper card models of the USS Monitor and the Merrimack I made as a kid. Of course this is 10 times as complicated.

    Very cool! I love the Delorean with "Mr. Fusion." Great way to add some more life to the Falcon.
