Go to mouser.com and you can search for ledengin Leds and you can look at the data sheets there. On the deep red, there is no type of conversion to go between mW and lumens. So, I guess one of us is going to have to buy one to test it. I have used the 5 W reds before and they are pretty bright. They are 91 lumens. I bet the deep red would look more sithish.

okay thanks for that!!! that was awsome!! i saw the cool white and i want the 15 watt 1500Ma version! does that really put 1000 LUMENS!!!!!!!
the 15 watt isn't on a standard die, so it will take serious modification, also the heat produced is a problem on the 10w let alone the 15w. If you want to go crazy, I suggest the 10w, which with some clever designs and electronics can keep the heat down. I have experience working with the 10w, Red, Amber and RGBA, and am happy with all of them.
But does it acually put out 800+ lumens?
Who doesn't want 800+ lumens?
