    Default MHS...Crystal Focas Project # oo2 ???... (WIP)

    Alright....Got parts from Tim today...This is my entry for MHS saber using the 7" fluted center....Right now it's temporarily running a US 1.1 and the Soul P4 Blue on 2 TrustFires ...using an UltraEdge for the blade...I must say the P4 blue is sweet.... and I'm a hard man to please when it comes to blue LEDs...
    The whole piece is media blasted except for the tip of the blade holder and the double male connector...That is a style 4 pommel if your wondering....Now the idea is to send it to Lord Dottore Matto for a special LDM powder coat..... I have to say though that I'm really liking the media blast finish... It gives the saber a very distinct prequel trilogy feel....So the question is should I powder coat or not?...

    Duuude! The media blasted saber is AWESOME! I love it that way. I'll be interested to see what the membership thinks. Post the proposed color render so everyone can compare the 2!

    love it the way it is. If anything PC the flute cuts, or put some type of grip material in them.

    I agree with Duncan. PC the flutes or add some type of grip to the slots but leave the rest as is

    Put some black or white stingray skin in the flutes and leave the reast the way it is.

    I really like it as it is. The only thing I would even think about powder coating would be the flutes. But, I really do like it as is. That media blasting does make it look awesome.
