Emergence Saber (Red EL wire accent and Crystal Chamber)

Here is my latest project I am working on. I call it Emergence. This saber will have a crystal chamber and accent red EL wire in the hilt. The grip area is red EL wire coiled around the hilt for 1.65". Then I am putting 6 Mara Jade grips on top of the red EL wire. I am also powder coating some parts. I am not sure what color blade and crystal chamber I am going to have yet. This is a work in progress and I will update the pictures as I make progress. It is all custom parts I made myself. This saber I am keeping for myself. I would appreciate any suggestions on the color of the crystal chamber and blade.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this saber was designed by $tarkiller. I forgot to put it in the post above. We have been working together for a while on this one. This is just a prototype saber of another one we are working on.

I'm seeing it a cyann or green to contrast with the red grips....

I think a cyan would look good with the red EL wire. Do you think the blade and the crystal chamber should be the same color?

Nice design but... if the crystal chamber is going in the gap near the emitter end, won't that make the saber too fragile to spar with?

That is why I left a thick piece of tubing in that area, I tested several pieces with a blade in them to determine the exact width it needed to be to support the blade for light to medium sparing. Plus the crystal chamber chasis will help support the saber too. I put alot of thought into the support for it.
