    Default custom vampire fangs

i know this does not really have anything to do with sabers but i thought i would show off my handy work. these were made by me from dental acrylic and shaped with my dremel tool. http://www.flickr.com/photos/36181673@N04/

I have some custom fangs that a friend made for me because he had some left over alginate and dental acrylic from making himself some Emperor Palpatine teeth.

I went to his place so he could take an impression of my teeth and then he poured up the model in hydrostone (I used to work at my dad's dental office, so I was quite familiar with the procedure) then sculpted the fangs in clay on the model.

Mine are connected by a thin "plate" that goes behind the front teeth along the front of the roof of my mouth.

After I approved the shape, he made another impression of the fangs, cleaned the clay off the original model and mixed up some dental acrylic. He poured this into the fang impression and placed the model on top.

When the acrylic had cured, he popped them out of the mold, cleaned them up and did a little detailing with his Dremel and I went home with a shiny new set of fangs.

The whole procedure took about an hour and a half.
