EL saber built in 2002. 1 1/2" sink tube with PVC grip and emitter shroud. PVC blade holder and other various bits of hardware. Finish washers and allen headed cap screws press against the top of the blade holder and also add design detail.

Here's one I made several years ago.
I haven't made any sink tube or metal hardware sabers. I jumped straight from PVC to machining saber hilts from aluminum. I think I may have missed out on something by doing so. Oh well.
