Default Does anyone have any experience installing electronics in small diameter tubing/pipe?

I have some aluminium tubing that is 1-5/16" OD and 1-1/32" ID. I want to make a saber using that tubing that can have a Luxeon LED and sound board installed. I already have a 3 AAA battery holder that fits very nicely. So...
I was wondering, does anyone here have any experience installing electronics in such a small diameter? If so, did it work? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

worky yes, it also depends on what your trying to shove in there. I've done it with a clonewars ultamit lighsaber kit board, but i made sure it was on a sled so it did not fry. As long as there is enough room for everything it should work.

I have installed a toy hasbro card and I put inside a piece of 1" polycarbonate tubing, the same tubing I use for blades. The hasbro card fits inside it perfectly.
