Cool My first of many to come...

Here is my first saber. I call it it "Alpha" because it was my first saber, first time ever to use a Dremel tool, first time ever to solder.....

It is driven by a hasbor sound board and has an Amber Lux III. I will probably add a rechargeable function someday.

    Questions and comments???

Noob Tip #37- Be careful when sanding sinktube. Edges are sharp.

Looks good. Nice first saber. Now the true test comes to see how addicted you have become.

Tip when Dremeling- cut a little away from the line you actually want. Then use the sanding drum attachment to bring the metal edge down to your intended line and smooth it out. This helps you straighten your lines and even out your curves.

I call it cheating...but hey, it's worked for me. The advantages- sabers that look nicely and cleanly dremel-fu'd. The disadvantage?...I blow through a LOT of sanding drums. But it's all worth it I say

*edit* I forgot to mention. I do like the shroud design. You're showing some rough edges (literallly...hahaha aren't i "pun"ny?) but with a little more experience and your sabers should turn out looking rather nice.

Can you take some more pics of the hilt itself from different angels? It looks nice, you should show it off a little more.

Which Angel do you want to hold the saber? Michael? Gabriel? Bethor? Hamon? Metatron? Uriel?

You need to be more specific...

I didn't know that angels used lightsabers.

I thought they had fiery swords or something of that nature.
