One thing about the MHS parts is they are super easy to put together. All you have to do is screw them together and with-in 2 min, your saber is ready. With a sink tube saber, well... some of them can be a real pain in the butt to make.

May the Force be with you.
You shold go to the big yellow box... http://bigyellowbox.tripod.com/
It has 8 different design styles and lots of great ideas.
style #7 also has a way to attach PVC blades to a saber.
Got a Question? There's a thread for that...

I like the MHS parts option, but how do you get it to accept a rod or dueling blade. Is there a easy fit blade holder/reducer?
My first post here...
No sounds, No lights...
But you can slid an Aluminium blade for "Heavy Dueling".
The aluminium can run through the whole hilt..
I built it to the likes of what they use in the movie during lightsaber duels...
This saber is so strong and durable.. You can actually beat up a person with it... LOLZ
One more great thing about this Lightsaber is that you can actually submerge this in water so super easy cleaning.. it wont rust..coz' it's made from thick stainless steel and PVC "Pipe Connectors"...
Hope these helps:

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man how to build a lightsaber and he will forever feast on tauntaun carcasses and aqualish arms. TimeRender
