That is an actual orange led and dosent need any color mixing to get it right, its dead orange.

I beleave Iam driving mine at 1A, I dont know for sure and when I get around to it Iam going to check to see what its set at.

But this saber is also eye hurting bright at times and when it comes to luxIII type numbers I dont pay attention to the lumens much.

75 actually and If the settings are right on the CF then its being driven at 1a and it is bright, brighter than the bin 2 amber my bro had that he killed by putting 9v to it!

But like I said its brighter than the lumens say it is, it is an ultra sabers thinwalled blade and when I tryed it with a tcss style blade it was very very weak, When I get the chance Iam going to get an ultra edge and see how it works out.

    1)RAA(tri rebel) 215 12.0 1000 ma(each)

    215 lumens.

in RGB mixing "orange" is a 2:1 RATIO of red to green [plug 255 Red, 128 Green, no Blue into MS Paint custom colour to see] - you could get that RATIO in a normal RGB by turning the blue OFF and the green DOWN 50%...in which case you are really only getting 1 & 1/2 LEDs worth of brightness out of a triple LED set up.

Thats why I have XWing building me a RED RED GREEN instead...the same 2:1 RATIO but with ALL 3 LEDS driven FULLY by a Corbin driver.

XWing told me he hasnt done a RRG before but by your own chart that should produce 315 LUMENS not 215 lumens of RAA when fully driven by a Corbin driver...a TRUE orange that should be SIGNIFICANTLY brighter than RAA.

I will keep y'all informed of the results of the experiment when I get the RRG and up and running and even though I dont have a digital camera I will try to figure out a way to get some pics for y'all.
