My laptop is FUBAR. The backlight to the screen is off. I can't see a darn thing on it... I'm using a cable to use my TV as an external monitor.

I'll try to check in through my universities labs, but I will gone for a while while it gets sent to be repaired.

Hope it's a covered fix, the prices of laptop components when you have repairs is so frustrating. I have a HP notebook that is needing to get the keyboard replaced but at $300.00 it's more fun to send that money to Tim[]
