name?

i want to name my saber. but i dont know what. does anyone have any advice on what to think about, or some ideas?

my saber that im wanting to name is my sig.

A lot of times, the name comes from the connection that you have with it:

- Is there a character back-story?
- How did the build go? Difficult? Frustrating? Enlightening?
- Where did the idea come from?
- What makes it special to you?

Just as examples, of course, but the act of naming a saber usually personifies the qualities that you see in it. Know what I mean?

-well im kinda just making myself my own jedi. so idk...

-the building has been fun! and i have been learning alot about electral wiring! and its not done yet! when i get a CF card im going to add sound.

-the idea kinda was just like i wanted to make my own lightsaber.

-it's mine and i made it!

so..... i still dont know.... well i will try! giving something a name just makes it more special!

ya, i know. i just want to name it right, and i didnt know what to do.

One thing you can do, is to take some "brave" sounding words, like "Guardian" or "Protector" and look up the words in a Thesaurus and find like words, and/or look those up in another language, like Latin, or maybe a language that your relatives or ancestors spoke. Like for me, I was looking up words to see how they sounded in Italian.

I ended up not being all that original, because I decided on the name "Paladin", for my saber.
