MHS needs ??

The following is offered as an observation and will hopefully be helpful:
Looking through the MHS parts it seems evident that a double female section is needed.
As it stands there is no way to use two ribbed sections together in a hilt since the system is based on both the endcap and emitter/blade holder having male threads.
The most adaptable solution I can think of is to have two sections made that are double female. One would be ribbed and the other smooth. Each only long enough to contain the needed connecting threads (say 1.75 – 2.0 in.) Sort of like the MHS to 1.5 adapter only threaded on both ends.

It would also add to the customizing features to have a shorter main section (both ends female) with the switch hole in it.

The Emitters mentioned in another thread would be the capstone to the system!

A double female part has already been suggested in the wish list... and I added it to the "to-do" list earlier today.[]
