All of nocturne's stuff is groovy. I liked his Tenel Ka saber.

Being so great, the owner of these wonderful forums and attached shop has filmed how to build an MHS hilt, here's the link:

Is he just great to you all?

"Groovy" is the understatement of the millennium. I had never seen his work until I stumbled onto this thread. I just checked out his website. To a would-be sabersmith, his work is both inspiring and depressing. Too bad he hasn't been active here on the forums for more than a year.

idk, while it looks nice, it doesnt look like it would be comfortable for holding/fighting

I don't think he's a member here, Matt. There's someone named "nocture" but that's not him.

Neat stuff. I like his use of wood in his hilts.

There's a big warning on the eBay page saying that it should not be used for dueling.

I should have guessed. The nocturne here described himself (herself?) as a noobie and asked really basic questions. Nocturne would have to be an incredibly quick learner to go from that to where he is now in just a couple of years!

i know it says not for dueling, but it should appear functional, that would be like designing a machine gun with nothing to hold onto that was more than an inch long or wasnt covered in spikes
