    you could add wires down it. like red ones to amek it stand out.....

    i meant regular wire. to add to the look of it wire running down the side!

    Just keep in mind, that if you want to do EL accents, it's going to take up more room inside the hilt.

    You'll need an EL inverter and 9-12V to power it. If you used AAs or AAAa, you could tap 6V off of it for the LED/sound board, but you'd have to decide if it's worth all the trouble.

    We just ordered one, and Im sure that we can make something awesome with it, but it would be cool to be able to get it without the switch hole too.

    As I am really new here, I was wondering how long it usually takes for new parts to make their way to the MHS Saber Builder?

    Also, and I'm sure this is a given, but are the new fluted sections double-female threaded, as the others?
