    Default Obi-Wan ROTS

I'm pretty happy with this, although, like everyone else, I desperately wish there were some genuinely narrow-necked MHS emitters available for doing replica sabers. This uses a royal blue Luxeon V, UltraSound 2.5, and two 14500 AW li-ions (7V). The switch is a tactile switch semi-hidden on the bottom side of the control box.

What makes this somewhat special is 1) the three-color powder-coating (which was actually pretty tricky), and 2) my original replica of the cog-like greeblie, which also serves as the kill key.

The greeblie was designed using 3D software (Cheetah3D for Mac OS) and 3D-printed using so-called "Stainless Steel" at shapeways.com. The material actually contains a lot of bronze, so it's pretty yellow right out of the box. And because of the limitations of the 3D printing technology, you need to do a lot of sanding and polishing. Even then, it was still fairly yellow, so I finished it off with nickel plating.

The control box card is from TFX Studios. It's okay, but nothing to write home about. The copper button next to the greeblie was made by slicing a copper-colored plastic bead.

    And here's a video:
    There's always a bigger fish.

    Default First MHS saber

After a long period of study, practice, and planning, I present my first lightsaber, which also happens to be an MHS saber.

    CRUSADER

Its current internals are as follows:

    Luxeon Lux V LED
Plecter Labs' Petit Crouton Sound Module (PC-U v1.5) running the Light Meat font
Momentary Accent LED for Power on/off
    Momentary switch for blaster/clash sounds
Wired with recharge port mounted in the pommel through MPS
Premium Speaker from TCSS (I may need to replace it; I think I damaged it somehow. It has become VERY quiet after assembly.)
    7.4v 900mA(?) battery pack

(Note: Battery pack was acquired long ago for another configuration with the Lux V without the PC-U. Thus, my memory of the current from the pack is lapsed, other than that I tried to optimize it for the Lux V.)

I call it Harmony (my second saber, Chaos, is in progress)
MHS pieces with embossing tape in the main body portion and the blade holder. Adding 1" by 3/16" o-rings to the gaps later. PC-Light Meat soundboard, 2x3.7V Trustfire 18650 from the TCSS. Quick disconnects EVERYWHERE so it can be easily disassembled. Green Rebel V LED in a Corbin 1" thick, quad-wrapped battle-ready blade.

    nickle plated momentary switch
    momentary aux switch
    MHS main body
