gelu, awesome saber dude. i just looked at the small download. thats amazing. the colors you got out of that. makes me wanna do one now. maybe i will later, got too many other things on the fire right now. hats off to ya man.

I personally wouldn't dare give it up, but you've inspired me more on my PolyC saber. It HAS to be a RGB now and I want to take the dial idea even further with on/off switches for each. This is what the Gallery was meant for: TO PROVOKE IDEAS!

Thanks for having my back, but this is my costume piece and I will only let it go if I get an offer I can't refuse. That is until I build something that excites me more...

Anyway, practical advice - you don't need switches, turning the dials all the way down effectively turns off each color. Now if you still want to install them just for looks or love of playing with buttons, than go ahead, but like I said, keep in mind you don't need them
