Here's my first saber using MHS parts:

I have been using a 3/4" blade from an EL saber with this hilt. it still has the EL blade diffuser, but lights up fairly well:

I finally got my sond board fixed. This is a half MR Luke saber with CSS ribbed section and emitter. 3 watt red lux with Luke soand card running off original battery pack and extra resistor. The hilt it 14.12 inches long. It is completly stuffed full with the electronics. Heres the pics.

    In alit room

    No lights

With my battle blade (MR with corbins diffuser and mirror tip)

    No light

Against a converted Vader mine is on the left (mine is with the MR blade still)

here is my new dueling saber, it has a 3watt green lux on a resistor, supplied by tcss, a 4.8 rechargeable battery i gutted out of a cordless screwdriver along with the recharge circuit all pre-wired with charge led, the balance point is exactly at the emitter, with a recessed switch, i also made use of the reflector from a noma luxeon flashlight with great results.

    here is the balance point.

my recessed switch next to the charge led.

the charge port i snagged from the source.

and last an overall shot of the hilt.

it aint pretty but its rock solid and handles beautifully.
If it ain't burning I didn't do it!

A couple of new ones using sinktubes and the 1-1/4" blade holder.

First is a saber for the girlfriend. 12" long, leather wrapped 3W white with a pink filter and a pull chain switch, 'cause it makes me smile...

And next is my new personal Jedi saber. 5Wgreen, 13" long, leather wrapped, with cutouts and an LED jewel below the thumbscrew(covers an idiot mistake)

My last saber designed for Celebration Europe in July. I think it has everything I ever wished for a saber... All aluminium, K2@ 1.5A + Crystal Focus V2.1. I might move to a lux V though. Dual Film Plecter Blade, rumbling motor in the hilt, aux button (blaster, blade lockup, force push Fx) and a bargraph with blinking/sequenced LED + progressive power on LEDs. I fell in love with the grip MadCow used. I couldn't find the exact same material but I used a reversed timing belt instead. The fiber aspect of this side of the belt is interesting I think.
I called this saber "Telum Infensus". It comes from Latin, Telum means a thin weapon like a javelin and it means also "beam of light". Infensus is an adjective for "ready to strike". Pretty cool name, I'm happy of my research !
You can see a video of this saber here :
