i got something for ya, I have had this thing wired up 3 times. once testing wireing and everything was cool even with the guarded mom switch. Then started to do final assembly and wireing, Needed to use a recharge port so I got that all wired in and lookn good. bench tested it and worked great. got it into the hilt all sitting pretty tested again before screwing in pommel, worked, put in led and nothing, so I put in the kill hey to restart it and I get a hello and shuts off. then I get a hello and some series of numbers. Ok, I think maybe a wire or something is screwy so I take it all apart and do an even better job of soldering and routing wires. works great on the bench, still using the guarded mom switch, get it all installed and the switch now must be wore out becouse it wont work worth a ****. So I take out the switch and try the little ones Ultra recomened and nothing. So now i'm thinkin maybe the recharge ports is bad, gonna change it out and see if weather or not it doesn not like recharge ports. I didn't have this much headache with a CF!!

Yeah, I might have just screwed something up. Here's my setup, all my parts are from TCSS.

Lux V green attached to US board with quick connect
    Side-by-side 2AA holder, using the 3.7v 14500 Trustfires
    Speaker acquired from TCSS
guarded momentary switch with quick connect

It still sounds like you have an error in your wiring.

Everything worked fine out of the hilt, but then stopped working once you put it in the hilt?

Make sure none of your wires are crossing at the connectors.
