Has anyone had a problem with their U.S. similiar to this?
After I booted it up it went spastic and started cycling through every sound on the card, even the voice but it was really high pitched and chipmunk-esque. I removed the batteries promptly, haven't done anything else yet.

Also, it will often turn itself off and I have to wiggle the battery to get it to start again, but this ones pretty infrequent.

Is this happening post-update to 2.1?

No one has their US V2.1 yet. I believe that the upgrade is fixing these problems.

If you go back 400+posts,,the beginning and read the whole thread,your questions are all answered and have video links.

Normally I would agree with an admonition to read the whole thread before posting a question, but since we're on page 45 here... I would recommend just waiting for Ultrasound 2.1 and reading something lighter in the meantime, e.g., War and Peace or Finnegan's Wake.

Ok so finally was lucky enough to get a US2.1 I installed it and it has worked perfectly for about a week. Now it freezes. If you disconect the battery it boots up fine. when you try to apply the settings or just turn it on, it has an irratic light and the sound is all messed up or not at all. Can't figure out the problem. any ideas or related issues?

Oh and sometimes it will work for about 30 seconds then loose sound or you get a clicking sound

Cantina... any headway on this? I didn't see this post until now.

I will say... this one sounds pretty tough. Maybe some video would help, or also if you really check the files that you have on the SD. If you have the wrong files for a different version of CF--you could get strange behavior. <---- EDIT: OH SNAP, I MUST HAVE BEEN BRAINDEAD WHEN I ANSWERED THIS AND FORGOT IT WAS ABOUT THE US BOARD... d'ohhh... sorry everyone. Disregard!

Still... I don't imagine THAT is the problem--it's just good to double + triple check EVERYTHING. Fresh batteries... check all connections x2... swap the LED (just because)... even try different switches. Once you rule out the impossible... what you have left is your problem.

Hey Matt, I think Cantina is talking about another US2.1 fiasco….Not A CF.

CF’s are awesome. They might be hard to get, but at least they work properly.
