Star Wars: The Old Republic - Concept Lightsabers
Not sure if these pics have already been posted ... these are the new concept drawings of possible lightsaber designs for the new Bioware Star Wars: The Old Republic game that is currently being worked on.
Here's the concept Jedi saber:

They both look like they have lighted ignition switches. Not sure I care for the size of the switch on the Jedi saber. And I'm not really into the large horn thing on the sith saber ... but still interesting designs.

The handles are... MASSIVE. The switch on the Jedi saber dwarfs the rest of it! Everything's so out of proportion. Neat find though.

So it was the Jedi who build the Pyramids!! They're some sort of activation matrix... but for what?
Seriously, that Jedi saber looks rediculous... at least around the mid-section.
They both look great, although i don't like the angle of the jedi saber picture.
Pyramids? the ones on Yavin 4?
You think it looks funky now, check out these pix. Makes me wanna just throw the lightsaber instead.

Also, It's still pretty early in the game development ... it's very possible that what you see in the game play pictures will be improved before the game is released.

I've always preferred Trek. Has the better ships.
Only think that really kept me into Star Wars was the lightsabers... and Natalie Portman in the PT... and the awesome lightsaber fights...

I also hope the size of the lightsabers get changed.
I would think that since it's Bioware, the same company that did the first 2 KOTOR games, that they would just make the lightsabers the same size as they did in their earlier games ... which looked just about right to me.
