    Exclamation Sweet! I had to tell you guys!

    I successfully soldered my first 2 connections, just a few minutes ago! I had never soldered before and was a bit apprehensive, but bucked down and did it! I now have a quick connector soldered to my Lux 3! I tested it with a battery pack and a resistor just to make sure it worked and BAM, BABY! LET THERE BE LIGHT! My buck puck should be here tomorrow and when I get it wired up, I'll post some pics. I know it's not a big deal for most of you guys, but it's HUGE for me! I've just taken my first step into a larger world...of saber building!

    I would like to thank all of you who have helped me get this far and have put up with my endless stream of stupid questions. I would have never had the courage to try this if it hadn't been for your encouragement! I've said it before...I'll say it again...You guys ROCK!

    Please pardon my gushing. Sometimes I tend to get a little too emotional (kinda like the EMO Stormtrooper - It's on youtube, look it up).
