    Default More Brass Sabery Goodness

    I couldnt be left out or out done with the brass soooooo.............................

    Here is FenderBender's latest custom saber, (I've actually been working on it for about 2 weeks)


    MHS parts, Some extra machine work done by yours truly

    MR VADER Sound

    Lux III RED, was going to use a P4 red but the board blew 2 of them

    custom speaker mount also machined by me

    brass sink tube overlays

    very nice. I am glad you did the overlay over the brass piece. I was considering trying that at some point but not sure how it would look assembled. Now I know!

    That is a really elegant and refined looking weapon Fender. It looks almost like one that would be carried for ceremonial occasions.
    That's one that would look good with any color blade you wanted to put in it, but I rather like the harshness of the red in juxtaposition of the gentle curves of the brass.
    Yes, I spell it sabre. I just like it that way.

    I like how you over layed the thin neck too. I'd had been thinking about doing that for awhile and someone beat me to it nice saber

    to me it looks like a kotor era hilt. Very simple and elegent. Live the saber man.

    lowes, It comes chromed then I sand it off after everything is cut and filed.

    I was wondering about that. I figured if I ever do an overlay I might try doing it with brass sinktube, but all I ever found was the chromed stuff and I was thinking "where the frak do these guys get this stuff?"
