Oooh no. I won't be gripping it that far up. I really like how the the curved extension feels and looks. I thought it would make a great choice as part of the grip. The ribbed extension with the o-rings and that curved extension will be all the grip/handle I'll use or need.

I hate to bring this point up but I always get annoyed with this point... mounting that covertech button on the threaded section of that grooved piece will work fine. If you get the short 8/32 screw TCSS sells with it then it won't extend into the threads and if it does you can shave the screw length a bit. I've not found that tapping into the threads that are used to screw the pommel into messes up anything.
