Okay, alot of you have heard me talking about this for a long time.
The Hello Kitty SABER.
Those that are new, you read that right. So, I want this done by Saturday for my niece (the 5yr old one, not the month old ACTUAL niece) so that she can have it at the fireworks display we're going to. There is all these vendors selling glowsticks, and poorly made flashing LED swords, but she's a huge Kitty fan, and has wanted a saber for ages, so a cheap imitation jst won't do.
Just to recap, due to battery issues, it went from this design:

Today, the painting has begun. I thought i'd have trouble getting the right pink, but Plasti-kote do a fantastic range, so I got it in the first store I tried!
And now I have a day off, I started the painting process. At time of typing, i'm just about to do the second coat of pink for the pommel, emitter, belt clip, and screws.

I'm sure your niece was thrilled. Maybe you could have found some subtle way of working a Hello Kitty silhouette into the design.
