The "Valenthyne"

This saber is the natural genesis (in my mind at least) of my Farfalla saber. Ostentatious, Gaudy, Blinged the h*ll out! If I could have Gold-plated it I would have. I have been smiling for the last hour, as I made the video and pictures!

The particulars:

BIN3 Royal blue Lux III Driven by a sureelectronics variable mA LED driver.
MR 616 sound (set to Jedi)
Crystal chamber in pommel, where the crystal (acrylic-blue) is lit by a 28000mcd LED which is driven by the MR board.
DPDT slide switch with custom Knob inside modified 616 maul-style activation box.
Sink tube and sun gold powdercoated MHS parts (with 3 more coats of metallic Gold spray)
Gold mesh wire underlay beneath steel grips held in place by brass buttonhead screws.
Very fine gold (brass) mesh insert in pommel.
