This is so false. You will need so much more items.

It was true when this thread was posted, almost 4 years ago. Things have changed a bit since then. Nylon screws are no longer necessary, and the heatsink is available separately.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

    yeah
and that will cost me around 50$ more. just for the heatsink. this is just great.

Is there any way to make the saber, without the heatsink?

I think you're exaggerating a bit. http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MH...Sink-P622.aspx is only $8 in the store. Unless you live outside the US, shipping is unlikely to bring your total to $50.

If you wish to make your own heatsink, it can be done with a piece of copper or aluminum. Copper is better at transferring heat, and is the preferred solution.

If you go to the "Parts Lists" section of the boards, you can post your list of parts you plan on purchasing, and the veterans here will let you know if you're missing anything important. It may save you some heartache in the future.

    43$ including shipping :/
And yeah, i live in Sweden.
is there any tutorials on how to make you're own heatsink?

i dont understand what you wrote in the end of your comment. "If you go to the "Parts Lists" section of the boards, you can post your list of parts you plan on purchasing, and the veterans here will let you know if you're missing anything important. Should i do a post on all the items i have?

kaptenfisk, I live in Japan, so I feel your pain on shipping charges. Only advice I can give there is double and triple check your orders ahead of time, and order enough to make it worthwhile. If you think you'd like a second saber, or sound at some point, now's the time to order.

It looks like you've got pretty much everything you need for the stunt saber in your picture, with the exception of the heatsink (which is VERY necessary). What about a blade, though? Do you have one already? If not, ordering one at the same time as a heatsink would make that shipping charge more somewhat more justifiable.

As for making one... I dunno. It's certainly possible, but seems like a whole lot more trouble than it would be worth, IMHO. Especially since MHS parts are manufactured in America, and while building a heatsink you may run into problems with SAW/ metric discrepancies. (Don't know about Sweden, but et me tell you how fun it is trying to find a 4-40 x 1/4 inch screw in Tokyo. Whee.)

    Yeah i have the blade.
I came pup with an idea, my sites lives in SF right now, and she's coming home this summer. So thought i could order it to hear house, and then she could take it with hear then she's coming home.
But i would love to have some help, what type of heatsink i will be needing, and if there's anything else i will need, please tell me!
