This thread shows how the pieces tend to go together.

A better description would help. Do you already have parts? Did you get an LED kit, tube and MHS parts for the blade holder, etc?
Sink tubes can be cut to your liking. Use a hack saw, rotary tool and files to get it the way you want. A 1.5" sink tube will fit over MHS parts, so you can make a shroud from the tube for it.

Please do some reading around the Forums before asking such basic questions, then, if you have more specific questions, come back and ask.
Read through the New to the saber scene? Start Here section, read the 2 Tutorials about building LED sabers, look through the LED Sabers section.

Okay, then you definitely want to start here:

Those demos will explain the basics of how the parts work together and what is needed to make a lightsabre.
The sink tubes are fastened using whatever method seems right to you. Most of us will drill holes through the tube and MHS part and tap the hole to have screw threads. Then just use small screws to fasten them together.
You'll be best served by doing lots of browsing of the board. I'd recommend going to the gallery and start going through threads. Some of them are even step-by-step demos of how they made the sabre.
Here are a few to start you off.

All but one of those are by Jay-Gon. He makes great demo threads of his builds. You'll learn most by seeing how it's done.
