Question Question for the Vets about Wiring...

...On a scale from one to ten,(10 being hardest-1 being cake) how hard is the wiring If I do a set up with tim's lux 3 driver board and a hasbro sound board? Just like to know what I may be getting into. Or should I start simple with just a buck puck for my first saber? and will the puck work with the hasbro sound? I have all the Hilt parts ordered and will be starting to get wiring supplies soon, and I have ZERO expierience with wiring of any kind, but I'm a quick study. I just really want to do something I can show off. And I really want at least some sort of basic sound. (maybe CF for a later project, once I get the hang of it) I really value your opinions, so any responses will be appreciated. (please overlook my spelling and gramar errors - I'm at work and had to type fast and no time to spell check)

I would just wire up the hasbro board and not use a driver to make life simpler since you are just starting. However, buck pucks are good to have so it doesn't hurt to have an extra one lying around. Do you have a link for Tims driver board or is it the same as the corbin driver?

it's the one in the shop for $50.00. I'm mostly worried about soldering. I don't want to mess something up.

If you're worried about the soldering, then see if you can find something to practice on.

Scrap wires that are of no other use might help.

Soldering takes a little practice but man it's fun! Once you get going, its hard to stop
