Thread: First custom saber DONE! :-)

  1. #1

Talking First custom saber DONE! :-)

After a few weeks of patience(I like in the uk so I had to w8 for the parts to arrive!hehehhe!!) and.... a few days of crafting...I should say nights because I am on my second year of my drama studies, so there is no free time during the day!

    Here it is!!!
My first lightsaber!all done by hand(dremel)

Details: Lux V overdriven to 1amp, 6 AA alcaline barrel config(don't ask!had to solder them together...crazy...until I get my 7.2v li-ion ones ), corbin quad wrap blade 37 inch, shroud created from a railing tube.

PS:now...if I could get a CF....and manage to cramm it in there....I would be a happy man!

I am looking forward to hear your opinion!
    and also some name proposals!
    Cheers!

    That's beautiful work 8lade.
The shape of the sleeve on there is really artistic and well done.

I hope you can get a CF for it. A lovely sabre like that deserves a top end sound solution.

    And welcome to the board!
Yes, I spell it sabre. I just like it that way.

I have to admit that I wouldn't be able to make the saber if this forum wasn't as detailed and helpful as it is!!!

I am already starting my next project that will run a Ledengin 10w green
