    Default My new saber

Well I finally got through designing my saber and ordered parts. Tim did an awesome job on the custom emmiter. I love both of Obi wan's sabers and decided to blend them. I still need to get the paint done and purchase the electronics. I'm just excited to get started so heres some pics.

    The parts:

The emmiter and how it looks with choke 2:

    The whole thing:

And with grips and concept drawing:

looks good, where did you pick that pummel up at? did you have a layout/blue print before it was machined?

    Default pommel

The pommel came from acerocket. I don't know if he has any more. Shoot him a PM.

That's really nice. I love the way the emitter and neck come together that was execellent design and of course marvelous machining by Tim. I even like the grips and I'm not a fan of those normally. Excellent work looking forward to seeing it completed and lit.

I'm likeing it so far. not real fond of the huge T-grips (too bulky) but that's just me. if you can find them, the ones off an MR luke ESB don't stick out as far as the regular T-grips.

Holy. Crap. Wow O_O That looks fantastic.

How do you people put those t-grips on in perfect six-sided patterns all the time? And perfectly vertical as well?

    SOMEONE TELL ME?! @_@

well mine is not that perfect. lol. i used some o -rings to hold them to the hilt and then just lined them up with the luke pommel. then punched and drilled one at a time. I also still have to glue mine.
