TroyO was running his at the full 10W all the time. Mine runs 5W with a 10W flash. It gets slightly warm, the green more so than the red, but it doesn't get hot.

That is simply awesome. It was what I had envisioned in my mind with all the different electronics etc. But you put it all together seamlessly! I was thinking about a black overlay similar to what you did there but man I don't think I could ever match your workmanship!
I'm really impressed with how you laid everything out on that saber. Its not just function but design and craftsmanship! The lighted switches on top are beautiful! Every little detail is thought out. I think I've got a long way to go before I ever get to your level.
I'm curious about that LED lens holder too, How did you put that together? It looks like one solid unit.

That's almost a real lightsaber! That is crazy! Love how you can see the crystal chamber while the lightsaber is on. The metal button switch is awesome.
