Yep, I've just been waiting for the paint to fully cure before I put it all together. I think It's probably ready now.

    Nice, Obi-Dar.
Good to see this one moving again!

When you soldered the clash sensor, which terminal was positive on the sensor itself? (Currently repairing a saber.)

I don't think it matters. It's just a simple switch. The little spring vibrates and makes contact with the shell of the switch, closing the circuit.

Double posting, but I think you'll forgive me because,

    IT'S FINISHED!!!

After almost a year, this bad boy is all wrapped up.

I set the 616 board that was giving me grief to one side and used a Hasbro FX Obi-Wan board. The switch is totally hidden. You just push the vinyl grip where the grip opening peaks in the shroud. Pretty slick, and works well. I'll shoot a video tomorrow.

It's not perfect. There's one "owie" on the shroud near the grip area where the dremel slipped, and I have some touch-ups to do with the paint, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

    WOW!!!
    That's awesome, Obi-Dar!
As close to movie accurate as you can possibly get with MHS parts!!
Great work. Great to see that this build finally got finished, after months on the bench.
