Here.. This was a different blade emitter and a sink tube slide over.
that would work better, you could also use the emitter style 2 and then make a sink tube shroud that extends farther forward to preserve the original look. That would make the hilt longer, but you could compensate by getting a shorter hilt section and have the grooves and switch hole custom milled into it.

Ya know what might be cool. Have Tim route out the lines on the handle back to silver after it's been powder coated.
