Resistor Question

So... I want to add an LED to my hit that will run off of the same 9v as the blade. I checked the LED calculator and it came up with this: "The wizard recommends a 1/4W or greater 270 ohm resistor. The color code for 270 ohms is red violet brown."

I cannot find this thing anywhere, so my question if when it says "or greater" is it talking abou the 1/4W or greater? because I can find a 270 1/2W resistor, but not the 1/4.

I'm using a white LED and it cost like $5.50, so I'd rather not gambleand fry thething if I can help it.

The 1/2W 270ohm resistor will do fine. It's like the Luxeons, as long as it's wattage rating is above you should do fine.
